Now it’s the girls turn! Following on from the boys trialling for Outer East Eagles last Thursday, some of our girls attended the first trial for the Outer East Eagles representative teams at Junction Oval yesterday. Now look who is trending on Twitter! Our very own Charlotte Edwards. Montrose will be fielding an U14/U16 team again this season. We are also working towards fielding an U12 girls team (softer ball & modified format). Ella MacCallum and Lily Ford attended the Come n Try session at Croydon Indoor Sports last Saturday and from all reports really enjoyed the session and are very enthusiastic about playing cricket for Montrose this season. Thanks to JMac, Liam and Cam for helping out on the day. Bryce and some of the U14/16 team also attended. We look forward to more U12 coming on board.
